On one of my Macs, Canry refuses to link to my Yahoo account, even though yahoo says it'slinked: The Canary on my otyher Mac has the Yahoo account, but the joint mailbox that would unite all three of my accounts does not function, and I have to waste time looking at all of them all the time. Tour other features liker "end subscription" are WAY ahead of the competion, but these things spoil that for me.

I started using and reviewing Canary because I am sick and tired of so many issues with Outlook, but so far Canary seems to have more issues than Outlook. When I tried to customize the window bar with icon and text, only the icon shows, I don't know if it is because is not the full pro version but can't see the icon and the text. I am unable to add my comcast.net imap account, and when I try to add an image to the signature it disappears after i save it. I don't if there are requirements for the size of the picture but they were the same pictures I used in Outlook. Also, the junk emails are dependent on the individual email accounts to filter which is not really good.

I added my Gmail and Outlook accounts, but I can't send out any emails with it. Every time I clicked on the send button, it failed and tried and failed. And I can't find any useful information in logs. And I can't find how to delete my accounts! Stupid!!!

...however, I still have a problem. I can't see with which account the Pro on the mac was purchased, nor does there seem an option to upgrade from Mac-Pro to Universal-Pro. Or maybe that's just because the iPhone keeps trying to log into my primary AppleID, rather than the one I use for AppStore/iTunes purchases?

I'm coming from Spark Desktop. They changed their look and feel so much that I just didn't like the way it worked any more. Canary Mail appears to be highly liked so I'm tryhing them out. However, there's a few small things and a major thing that's not working. Big thing: I'm using it across 2 MacBook Pros, an ipad and a iphone. I've had the app open several times now and need to purge the database because something was corrupt. This requires setting everything back up again. Small things: I archive emails into folders. There's not a quick way to do this by simply selecting move, type in a quick folder name/search and then archive. I have to select Move, then scroll through the folders to find the one I want. Related to that, Spark was very good at remembering my most used folders and even detecting which ones I used for each email address. When archiving/moving, it would preselect the one I had used previously. This was a huge time saver. Otherwise, I generally like this app. As long as I don't keep having problems with the crashing/purging I'll likely pay for it and keep using it.

Any modern day email client should allow you to easily create folders and subfolders. You should be able to move subfolders into root folders. There is no way to do this, making it impossible to personalize your workflow.
