Much better then fantastical and no subcription needed
it works great with all the functionality one could wish for and it's aesthetically pleasing. No need for Fantastical anymore which has become way too complicated in the past years and wants you to subscribe now. Even though I think I am grandfathered in.

I am looking for alternatives to Fantastical and this is highly rated but it has several limitations for someone who uses the calendar a lot. I have from 3-6 meetings a day, access a primary work and personal calendar as well as view several additional calendars for work and family. I also use reminders for tasks. I use calendar sets to group my calendars and only view the ones I care about at the moment. 1) I don't see a way to ignore alerts for certain calendars. I don't need to be notified when someone adds vacation to a work calendar or when a family member adds an appointment. 2) I can change how far in the future the calendar displays events but it doesn't load any in the past. I frequently need to go back a few days to find the last time I met with someone or who was on the meeting invitation. 3) It keeps reseting the default calendar for a calendar set so that I can't change it. 4) The list of people invited to a meeting is on a single line and I can only see 2-3. It doesn't scroll to show everyone. I haven't tried the natural language processing because the other limitations make this app unsuited for me. I would rate it higher except for the obvious bugs like (3).

This does exactly what I want it to do and nothing extra. Really happy to have found this app! The only issue I have experienced so far is that I can't set Monday to be the first day of the week. I really have viweing my calendar with Sunday at the start of the week.

So far this is a really great calendar app. The only issue I've run into so far is when I double click an event with a zoom link in it to get more details, the app crashes. Aside from that, the app is great!

I have been looking (and looking) for a simple way to view my apple calendar and reminders in one timeline, and this app is 100% what I wanted. I also love that the format and layout is essentially the same between this and the iOS app - so I have the same view no matter if I'm on my laptop or phone. And the no-subscription model is a great deal in my opinion and so worth it! THANK YOU!
