Glitches
1. No email / support on their website. Guess this is how i submit a bug report :) 2. i did a bunch of start / stop / starts. it added to the # of seconds recorded. Cool however then glitches started. It would show im playing second 1:03 out of 50 seconds recorded. What?? 3. it says the second marker on the start of each line of text. i.e. if i start typing at 10 seconds in it will say 00:10 maybe it should have a counter that keeps updating while its recording no? i.e. 00:10-00:20 and then 20 seconds later 00:10-00:30 that would be more accurate 4. The Stop button has gotttta goooo. Nice red button to record. Ok thats normal. But the stop button is awful! It turns into a reddish circle with a gradient and white in the middle? Ok for an candy color but not a stop button. How about a red square outline. Simple. 5. A voice recorder app... that.forgot.. to put in a delete button lol. Serious. They didnt build in a delete button to delete the audio so you can start over easy. You have to close the document, do you want to save. click no. then click new doc. blah. fix it! 6. Have a macbook m1 i use it on. doesnt say its m1 optimized but it does work with the glitches mentioned above.

I use this app across all my devices, from iPads to iPhones to laptops to Desktops. As a music producer and songwriter, it enables me to record audio, transcribe it easily through spoken text into my phone and it shows up on my desktop computer for editing seemlessly. I have used this app and its cousin app, "Note Studio," for several years. I use it for business meetings, songwriting, creative ideas, anything that is important, and I want to be sure to recall. It has several advantages that I've yet to find on any other recording app. You can edit the text, and it will update the timestamp, and you can amend the recording and add new ideas later. Some projects span many months—any long-term project or process, from legal meetings, to event planning. I can go back to meetings from years ago and instantly find essential items discussed. I use it on my Macbook Pro, iPhone, and my PC using team members use it on their PCs. Yes, it is indispensable.

AudioNote 2 was working great and all of a sudden began crashing. It is now unusable. Could it be due to Catalina? Don't know. Haven't found any answers yet. Not recommended. NO HELP FROM DEVELOPERS.

United StatesExcellent tool, but watch for glitch
I use this tool constantly, daily. I highly recommend it to anyone who would prefer to focus on a conversation or professional meeting without taking verbatim typed notes. Do be aware of your state's laws around recording meetings and whether you need to inform others that you are recording. The glitch is that sometimes I will open a new audionote and press "record" and then turn my attention elsewhere only to return to the audionote and see that, although the "record" button had gone from red to white-ish, there was nothing recorded. That has been frustrating. I now watch to be sure that the recording time begins to count up before turning my attention elsewhere, but I do forget sometimes.
