This Developer Is Both Deceptive and Confused
This app is called "Vintage Camera Pro for iPad", and yet, if you check the in-app purchase, it claims that for .99 cents you can upgrade to the "Pro" version. Wait, what? I thought an app which calls itself "Pro" is ALREADY the Pro version? But it gets better... Or, worse, actually. The name also clearly states that this app was expressly designed "for iPad", right? So you'll be sure to get this one instead of the iPhone version, if you prefer to shoot or edit on your iPad. However, when you open the app, you'll find that it has a sideways orientation EXACTLY like the iPhone version. In fact, the icons for both apps are identical in every way, so I literally had to open and close them four different times to make absolutely sure I was opening the right app. And, lo and behold! They BOTH require you to turn your device sideways to use them! So this begs the question: how in the hell is this app "for iPad", when the only thing even remotely related to an iPad is the name? And the only thing "Pro" about this app is in the name, too. Otherwise, why am I bombarded with advertising if this app is so "Pro? As stated in the title, this developer is either a con-artist, or he is seriously confused about the basic meaning of words. Either way, you'd be wise to avoid this app, because the filters can easily be found in a thousand other apps. And the developer hasn't had an update in about a year, so this is obviously abandon-ware.
Never mind
Tried this because it was supposedly the pro version on sale, but they just hide the fee as an in app purchase. Not that a buck is a huge deal, but the deception, however minor, is still a major put off.
Too bad!
Why?
When "Pro" is anything but PRO!
Classic fake "Pro" version rip off. Claims to be "full version" but wants you to give them money to upgrade to "Pro" to remove adds and "unlock" more features. Nothing new here anyway and super low-res to boot. These types rip off developers should be banned from the App store for their dishonesty if nothing else! Getting pretty sick of this kind of junk.
Don't Bother
It's just an ad polluted knockoff. Another photography app left behind and forgotten.
