Good for Multimedia
I like that this app is also compatible with laptops. I can assign my students a passage to read and also link videos to it. I also like that more than one link can be added to a single photo.
Nice! Love it!
As an educator, I think this is a great tool for my students to help annotate and tag photos. I like that this app started out with videos and introduced me to the blog to let me know not only more about the app, but how I can use it in other platforms(ex: Microsoft PowerPoint). I found it helpful that this app gave me the option of using my own photo, or a stock photo. I also enjoyed how it allowed me to customize my tags in different colors, to further differentiate my content. It also allowed me to differentiate my tags so for one tag I can have a poll, another tag is a statement, etc. Overall, very great!
Educational
I created an informational and interactive photo in which you can learn about a local park. In the photo you can find icons that you can click on to be linked to various information about the park such as where it is located, what the park represents, its educational importance, how much it costs and more. This app would be an excellent addition for class projects for students to display theyre knowledge and produce content. This app would also be a great support for teachers to present to students as an organized way to gain information about a topic.
I’m so annoyed
I’m a middle schooler using this, and it was great until y’all completely redesigned the app. Nothing saves correctly, and way too complicated now to know where everything is. Whoever said “let’s redesign the whole app” really didn’t think through how there are people actually using the app before the update
Engaging!
I really enjoyed this app! It’s a fun and engaging way for students to interact with a photo. You’re able to embed music, pictures and text within any image. I used this to create an interactive map activity for students who live in nyc. Students are able to click on each link to see images and read information about each borough in NYC.
Wow. I’m very disappointed.
At first, I thought this would be more convenient than the website, and it sort of is, except they didn’t put the other effects in. So please work on that, Thinglink.
Great!
I thought this app was great for linking a worksheet for my students and then using pictures to help them if they didn’t understand what the word was. For example I did a common noun workbook page and it had a lot of different common nouns on the page- I linked a picture of flowers to the word flowers. Since my students are on all different reading levels I think this can be beneficial when completing homework and not having support at home.
