Use Screenflick Remote to control Screenflick running on your Mac. Using the remote, you can start a recording, pause, resume, and stop, all without the Screenflick interface being visible in your final recording. You can even control Screenflick running on multiple Macs at the same time! Remote connections require WiFi to be enabled on your iPhone device, and Screenflick version 2.7 or later running on OS X Yosemite or later.
Cool idea… Doesn’t work
This app recognizes my Mac on the network, but when I tap the switch to connect nothing happens at all… Almost as if the switch itself is non-functional. Oh well. Screenflick is still great without a remote app, but the idea still intrigued me.
Works just fine.
The app works nicely as a remote for pausing and stopping recording. It also shows a preview of the screen as it’s being recorded. ( The setup instructions are found under the question mark in the bottom right of the remote tab. ) In order to start recording from the remote you must first set Screenflick to start recording from remote. Once it’s started you can pause or end the recording from the app.
Horrible
I used this w/ Screenflick and it didn’t work. Don’t bother replying.
Works good for me
Nice alternative to pause stop record shortcuts especially if you forget and walk away from computer This is meant to be used with Screenflick app for Mac only
☹️
This app does NOT work on phones
Well Put Together
I love this app because I can remotely control my recording and see how long the video is. I would recommend Screenflick even though it's $30 on your Mac.
Updated to work with Screenflick 3.
