Works for Me & iPad
Usually I don't mess with these iPhone / Mac combos. But my iPad was sitting right next to my Mac when I surfed into RemoteSnap. So I installed them both. Know what? It works great. However, there doesn't seem to be any security… which means I could take a cute picture of my cat and send it directly to the guy below me that hates all things that meow. Add some kind of minimal security and I'll upgrade to 5 stars.
Garbage app
Considering that you have to open up the app on your phone, then take the picture as well as install this program on your computer...this is not worth your time! Just use dropbox, it's free and way easier.
Awesome App
I'm sorry that this app seems to be crashing for everyone else, but it worked fine for me and It's really cool! I'll buy the full version if I find myself using this version a lot, because it's kind of annoying having the photo stamp on all the pictures u take, and having the app ask you if you want to buy the full version after each time you take a picture.
It Crashes...
If the RemoteSnap Free crash everytime I use it, How do you guys going to persuade me buying full version?
Great idea, very poor execution
To begin with, it doesn't work, it just crashes all the time, so what do you think the rating for it will be? 1 for effort, perhaps.
Handy App for Family occasions at home !
I can see this App being VERY handy for holidays and other occasions at home. I could not get the iPhone to find the server on the iMac at first. I had my DSL cable plugged in and turn on the airport to connect to the WiFi network. I had to remove the cable and restart the computer then it connected. The picture is taken in the App and it seems a bit grainier than normal. The picture also has a stamp with the Remote Snap log and info thats a bit annoying. To send photos from the album you need the paid version. I contacted the developer for support and he responded quickly and invited me to email back for more help if i needed it. I really appreciated the developer's effort. I give this APP 5 stars because it does what it what is says it will do and is a great preview of what the paid App has to offer.
Slow Death
Quite useless. After connecting to my MacBook, taking a picture and waiting for several minutes, I found that the iPhone app had crashed, taking the WiFi connection on my iPhone with it. Of course, the picture didn't transfer, either. Had to reboot the phone and the computer. Tried again, same result. Good thing this doesn't cost anything.
