Premium Users Scammed
Looks like you guys made a new feature in the last update called “imports” where you only have a limited number of imports. And this feature also applies to premium accounts. I will be requesting a refund because this is not what i bought, when I got the premium I was told I would have unlimited imports. I know this isnt a bug, because you changed the description of premium to add “Has 25% discount when purchasing imports” this is the most laughable statement for a photo vault application, and a horrible business decision. Do you know how many photo vaults have completely free unlimited imports? I used to be very hopeful and support-ful of this app, I told all my friends who needed a photo vault about it and that its premium service was simple and provided great features like unlimited imports and deleting photos from your camera roll automatically, I am incredibly disappointed. 5 stars to 1 after only a few months.

As a premium account holder, I was extremely disappointed when the developers suddenly decided to limit imports for premium users and started charging for importing pictures and videos. Before making a decision, I recommend reading the numerous one-star reviews to truly grasp why this app is not worth your time or money. I downloaded this app for free through a promotion. I paid too much. A bountiful selection of photo vault apps exists at the App Store, but what made this one stand out was the developer’s promise of a “premium” package that included “unlimited imports for free!” I certainly would not have wasted my time had I known that only the first 30 downloads were free, thereafter it would be necessary to purchase bundles of 30 photos for $3.99 each. I may be cheap, but I’m not insane. I wrote to IDEANOLOGY, the developer (the nonsensical name should have warned me away from the start), and was smugly informed that the offer had been incorrectly published by the promotional site, which turned out to be the case; but what reputable company would not honor a printed commitment—even if it had been mistakenly offered? I guess the “premium” part of the promotion refers to the recurring high cost imposed upon the app’s users. I recommend that you count the WRITTEN 1 star reviews for Privoto and weigh them against those with 5 stars, and then look through the numerous photo vault apps available and select one that doesn’t routinely pick your pocket. Compare Privoto to Safteyzone which “offers a lifetime purchase as well as monthly/ yearly subscription options.”

This app was promoted by its developer (IDEANOLOGY) on AppAdvice with the following inducement: “TODAY ONLY: Unlock the premium version that gives you access to all premium features including unlimited imports for free! Download the app, go into settings, tap Premium Account, select ‘Buy Premium Account $0.00’, and continue to check out.” The “unlimited imports for free” turned out to be 30 free imports and $3.99 for every 30 imports thereafter. I emailed IDEANOLOGY numerous times about the blatant deception and received responses that reiterated the wonders of this rather unexceptional app without addressing the false promotional commitments. Rather than honor the offer, the developer eventually blamed AppAdvice for the misrepresentation. Tellingly, IDEANOLOGY did not provide this exculpatory explanation to the many people who submitted one star reviews—as of today, exactly half of all WRITTEN reviews awarded Privoto one star for the same reason: they felt they were misled by the developer. I urge you to purchase one of the multitude of less expensive photo vault apps available through the App Store.
