Great for the sites that support it.
It’s the most fully featured player for web stereo 180 video on the VisionPro store that I have found, so it must have updated since other reviews mentioning it being an iPad app. It is an immersive app which plays video only from web sources that have adopted it, it seems. It does that exceptionally well compared to everything available for playing SBS stereo right now, though, by far. Mostly due to the others’ buggy interfaces or experimental nature. The A/B and loop features are very worthwhile, and there are some cute 3D environments to sit in. It says it supports network file shares, but I haven’t tried it. It can play local content, but only if you copy that content into its folder in files. Moon Player and Reality Player both have native file browser support. So if you have a site in mind that supports this app, don’t hesitate. Otherwise other players are probably needed. Or enable WebXR in Safari and try those players.
So much buffering it’s unusable on AVP
Using this app to play 6K-8K media from my NAS is a painful experience as there’s so much buffering for even a few seconds of playback in its current state unlike Moon Player, which has no such issues whatsoever. I hope the developers are able to get it to work as wonderfully as on the AVP as it does on the Quest headsets very soon.
Duplicated picture
I’d easily rate this 5 stars but like others have said, there’s a weird glitch where it shows a duplicate picture behind the SBS picture for the headset.
Unusable on iPhone 15pro
Literally unusable. Shows vr view on top of regular view. Awful.
Shows three screens, completely broken
Shows one screen per eye and also a third one in the middle for some reason. Which makes this app pretty much useless
Completely unusable. Do not download.
Unusable duplicate video.
