I bought it because it looked like the layout was about the same as the one I have used. Well it is and it isn’t. It took some head scratching and manual reading to find tools I desired. Once I found them I liked where they were placed and how they work better than any other editor I have used. Lots of tools I have yet to explore. I prefer to create my own stuff rather than to use templates and this I can easily do with the tools provided. It is precise - splits to the exact frame desired. It’s more stable than most other applications I’ve used. I expected it to crash on a 3 layer video I made full of extremely short clips, transparencies, repositioned clips, etc. No crash. I like the way one can select output for a specific use and that it give enough info to know if the codec selected is MPEG-4 or MP2 etc. It renders faster than my old application and the quality of output is great. I see it’s getting a lot of poor ratings and I can’t find a thing wrong with this little workhorse.

Don’t waste your money!! It only saves the file as an mmp. I upgrade to pro hoping that there are more options but there isn’t. I go to the help tab and it tells you you can buy a converter. I bought that and that program doesn’t accept mmp files. Someone tell me how I can get my money back!

This application keeps dying. Brings up a screen that indicates problem is being reported to Apple. Not worth the money. If it were free, it still would not be worth anything

Have not been able to use it at all since purchase... it crashes immediately at app start. Plus I see that I'm supposed to get some other free for purchasing Pro. Not sure how or where to get that since that app says it costs $9.99.

Is it okay to delete MovieMator Video Editor FREE once I’ve bought and am using the PRO version? Both of these were downloaded in the Mac App Store. PRO is 260.3 MB and FREE is 253 MB, so I assume it’s okay to delete it, but I want to be sure. Works great, easy to trim and edit.

1 Thumbnails will be automatically displayed in video clips at each time point now. (Previously only thumbnails for start, middle, and end time points were shown). 2 Improves the click switching speed between video clips. 3 The clip can be edited frame by frame on the preview window by double-clicking the single video clip. 4 The gaps between the main track video clips will be filled automatically. 5 The interface has been optimized. 6 The sound display is temporarily turned off.
