App is ok but...
For having free the features such as exposure and or focus lock and balance it's very useful. What's annoying is that for every video whenever you stop it, the app closes that session and reverts to the first screen. Same thing when you snap a photo. One shot and it reverts back. I needed it to remain on the mode I'm using it at so I can resume with video recording or photo taking. I want to decide if to leave that mode or not.
Bad design principles
Why would you design software that allows a user to make a mistake? While recording a video if the X button is pressed, the app exits without any warning and the video is lost. You've obviously don't use this around children!!!!!!
Don't know where the pictures go
I can't find the pictures I took wit this program. Deleted app.
Where does it saves my photo???!
Well, I would of rated this app a lot better, but I can't figure out where it is saving the photos I take. I click, it takes the photo, then says "saving", then I checked my photos, and my news ones are not there. Where are they? The app is useless if you can't find where it stores your photos and videos.
Needs update fast in a hurry
This is a great app to use with the iPad movie mount but it needs a update its extremely buggy causes crashes it freezes the iPad a lot
THE MAKAYAMA IPAD TRIPOD MOUNT
the Makayama tripod mount (also sold by the guys that provide this app) is without a doubt the coolest tripod mount for an IPad out there. The lens adapter attachment has no equal among anything I've seen out there--even among competing tripod mounts costing a lot more. If you're thinking about shooting stop motion or serious HD with an iPad 3, this is the tripod mount you want.
Awesome! Focus lock, white balance lock, exposure lock, and free?!
I was considering a tripod mount, came across a mention of this free app. Does everything i need, eg exposure lock really useful for 360 panos, and some things i didn't even know i needed (eg had no clue that the ipad video cam fills the screen but hides content from the top and bottom). Feedback to the developers of the mount... Love the features, all very smart, but as long as the lens is off-center, it makes less sense to use it as a movie camera.
