MooCow is a privacy focused app to hide your photos and videos behind a passcode and Touch ID/Face ID. Are you concerned about privacy? Then hide your photos and videos with MooCow. MooCow doesn't use an internet connection so you can be sure your data stays on your device and is only seen by you. Why the name MooCow? Because it is an inconspicuous app name that can sit on your home screen without drawing too much attention. Import photos, live photos, gifs, and videos directly from your documents, photo library, or directly from the camera. Manage your files over your local WiFi network with the built-in WiFi File Manager or locally with macOS File Sharing. Watch your videos in-app using the native video player and view your photos in a custom fullscreen swipe-able photo album browser. Supported Videos: MP4, M4V, MOV Supported Images: JPG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, BMP, GIF, WEBP, Live Photos https://moocow.app
It’s almost great
It works fine except for the fact it doesn’t play video and randomly crashes
Broken app
When I add a certain amount of media the app no longer wants to open. It opens very slowly at first, does faceID then freezes & just doesn’t open. Why? Memory issue? My whole phone stays on empty 9/10 times bc I use a cloud service so I don’t get it.

Simple
Exactly what I need to hide my photos!!
Pretty cool app!
So I just donated to the dev & requested a feature that *facepalm was already there… Anyway this app is pretty great if you want to hide some photos on your phone because of course remember that Apple ultimately controls the file system so… but anyway I know we have hidden photos in our default gallery but I like this all & I like the auto delete features & the fact that sure the photos are on my phone but they live in their own place. Anyway I highly recommend this app. The dev is still maintaining it & it has a pretty cute name.

Question
How can I get back my back up picture off iCloud
- added PiP support - allow audio to play in background - minor UI tweaks - thumbnails are now persistent across app launches - fixed issue with view not updating on rotation
