Excellent image prep app / important art tool
I use the app to pre prep influence images before taking them further using AI. It gives me super unique “DNA” for starting many of my AI explorations. If you haven’t made this part of your AI process/work flow, then you are missing a ton of original “paths or seeds” to launch from into your AI process. Look like everyone else using AI —-or get this app into your work flow and differentiate your work w/the amazing jumping off points it will give you. +++5 STARS!!!

I use Kinoglitch so much, I would almost consider it my “medium” as far as digital art. It has become literally essential in my own personal workflow, and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve probably generated over 5000 images and videos with it alone. It is not without a couple of problems, which I wouldn’t even sweat were they not such glaring ones. First and foremost, while the app saves no tangible history of what you’ve opened in it, it does in fact have a data cache that builds up over time, causing the app to eat up storage with no discernible advantage to it doing so. This cache can only be cleared by deleting and reinstalling the app. This is fine as a band-aid fix, but should it ever get removed from the App Store, you’d have to live with that cache bloating up your device forever, or irretrievably delete the app(which I hope never happens!) Just adding a function that clears the cache would be incredible! I’ve also found a bug that, when in either of the two main video modes, causes the app to crash right at the moment of saving a video. Fine if you’ve just opened the app, pretty infuriating when it happens after you’ve spent an hour or more obsessively tweaking every possible setting and getting the adjustment curves just right- mind you, there is no project saving function or undo history to recall from- the project is just lost forever. In any other art creation app, this would be a dealbreaker, but I’m standing firm in giving this 5 well deserved stars, because this app is that important to me. KinoGlitch(and every app I’ve tried from this dev for that matter) does a lot of very specific, more esoteric things, and perhaps not everyone will find it as useful as I do, but you will not find a single other app that does what this one does.
