Better than I dreamed possible. Really
After taking hundreds of picture with the date/time stamp accidentally turned on, was nearly in a panic.Picture were irreplaceable. Found this app, and couldn’t be happier. Easy to use, even for a luddite , amazingly effective. I am extremely pleased.
I use Photoshop, but this is awesome
I use Photoshop for most of my editing, but this really does an excellent job at what it does. Even with a busy background, I can remove an item. I just removed 6 trees out of a scene and you wouldn’t be able to tell that the picture had been doctored. I even had a picture of my son at the tennis court on a cloudy day. There were power lines everywhere as they were close to a power substation. I removed a second court and all of the power lines and it made the clouds and the grass look as natural as could be. Excellent programming!
I’m a Novice & I Fell In Love After My First Edit
I’m kind of spoiled when it comes to photo editing. I have a friend who will do this kind of thing for me, but when I get picky and finicky about the end result, he says maybe you should try to learn this yourself. Well after one of my more finicky sessions where I was asking him to combine several pictures and he was unable to use one of my pictures effectively and he swapped out the first thing that he could find online and tossed it back in my lap. I told him thanks but said I would get back to him with better pictures. I found an image that I liked but there were images in the background that I knew would make it impossible for him to use. So I had read some of those spam emails advertising photo editors and stumbled upon InPaint 6, watched a single video and made a purchase. During my first picture I couldn’t figure out how to restrict the donor area. I mean the items I wanted to remove were selected, but the area I wanted InPaint to remove was bright and I wanted it pitch black and the donor areas had colors that I didn’t want. I took a few looks at the Tutorials rather impatiently and then after my third attempt I learned how to erase the green sections I didn’t want InPaint to borrow color from and zip zap zoom I had the exact photo I wanted. Then I shot it back over to my friend who wanted to know where I got the photo and I said I just kept looking until I found exactly what I wanted. (I lied) A few minutes later I got the photo combination I was looking for just exactly as I saw it in my head. My friend being a commercial artist professional figured out the image I gave him was edited and he said he was proud of me. I never asked why, but later he told me he guessed I had finally taken his advice.
Exceeded Expectations
I regularly have to scrape photos and remove their water marks for my job. This exceeded my expectations for removing them. Very fast, and photos turn out perfect. 5/5 Would recommend.
Waste of Money… Product is terrible!
I bought this to remove water marks from my photographs and this does nothing but blend pixels and causes the image to look very distored… iTunes needs to refund me for this or I will file a dispute on my Credit Card…. Do not waste your time or money on this garbage!
Upsetting Issue
The 3 stars are for a mixture of an issue I had by installing it - which deserves 0 stars - and the quality of the app itself that deserves about 4.5. What made me upset is that “Inpaint” lets you try out the app, which mean edit a picture, and in my case it was a process of days and many hours, pixel by pixel. Upon finishing the project and liking the app, I decided to save the edited image and purchase the app, however, this is where the problem was. You cannot save it unless you purchase the app, but you cannot download the app unless you closse Inpaint!! I tried over and over, thinking that Maxim Gapchenko would get the memo somehow that I did purchase it and would let me save the picture before I am forced to close the app. Well, there is no way to do that, there seems to be an option to put some misterious key code, but I have no idea how to get it. I tried to put the order's ID#, the document no. #, anything I could find on my invoice, however nothing worked. I downloaded the app now, but lost my edited photograph, and still got no “key” number/code, and hopefully I am not going to need it ever again in order to save my pictures! My recomendation try it and see if you like it, but do not invest too much time on a project on the trial version of the app because you are going to loose your work. The app itself works well, even if it is a long process especially when editing/removing watermarks from portraits, I still like it.
Great!
Used it to remove some unwanted telephone lines and parts of trees. Works as advertised. Good job!
