With this app’s on-device intelligence you can enlarge videos without losing detail or degrading quality: edges remain razor-sharp and even the finest details are preserved faithfully. This app allows you to take good footage and make it great. Have you ever wanted your footage to look sharper with more detail? 4K Video Upscaler & Enhancer enlarges your video up to 4K resolution, using sophisticated algorithms, with true details and motion consistency. Open common video formats such as mpeg4, mpeg, avi, 3gp, and many others and convert them to higher resolution, sharper 4K videos with two clicks. Professional formats such as MXF can also be converted. And the app can process multiple videos at once with the batch-conversion option. Reliably and fast. State-of-the art technology is used to eliminate noise and restore details that were not clearly visible in the original image. Automatically makes adjustments based on the technical content of the video like tonality, scene type, and dynamic range. This app will transform your videos into clean upscaled footage.

Upscale or enlarger?
This in no way increased quality. I would have gotten the same results if I put a 480p video into iMovie and stretched it to be in a HD frame. Fail.
Mixed bag - but a lota Gotchas
First the Good - Easy Interface very easy to use and a decent price, The Gotchas as others have said, batch support is broken. Yes you may select more than one file in the file menu but the program defaults back to one file only. Then does not encode it - simply telling you its done instantly. Also though it suports Vob files (DVD files ) they must be named .mp4 for the program to allow selection on them. I took what was originally a VHS tape, that was turned into a DVD and moved it up to HD - the result was better - but was it that much better - for the time used at best quality ? I guess its a little better. I have heard that interlaced subjects are not great with theis - mayby that's why. Since i would be charging my customers extra for this rendering it must be very apparent to the viewer - as of this moment i cant say its so.
Videos look good but batching does not work
I like how this program functions and use it often to upscale for my youtube channel. However, when selecting multiple files, the program upscales the first file, and does not do anything with the remaining files on the queue. It skips over them all one by one, and says "complete, video can be found at: filepath" I would love to use this more often if the batching worked. As it is, it does not work.
Surprisingly good!
Going from SD to HD works very well, comes in handy for editing. Also pretty fast. The "enhancement" is a bit too much for my taste. I would love an update or even a pro version where you could set the "sharpness" to low, medium or high. Recommended!
Batch conversion doesn't work
It'll load all the files into the list (and make you wait while it figures out how long each file is) but when you actually begin the conversion, it'll only do the first file in the list. Not worth the money.
Batch convert does NOT work
as NeonScribe mentioned you can select multiple files with cmd button but the app stops converting after first file. You might want to fix this.
