Unless you are already well versed on After Effects or Apple Motion, you'd be hard pressed to find a beter way to make a slideshow. This software is PACKED with lots of interesting, useful, and fun templates. Well done, easy to use (just as easy as Photos). Being native and not a web app, it's fast! I didn't need a yearly subscription but for $8, totally worth the price for a month.

I'm not often moved to write a review, but when I needed to put together a memorial slideshow of over 300 photos and found iMovie woefully inadequate (I mean, really miserable for anything but the most rudimentary work), I looked around and held my breath at what might be available. What I found in FotoMagico was a revelation. It was powerful, intuitive, fast, and just plain worked. A free trial was unlimited, such a surprise these days. I can't thank the develop enough for a joyful experience with this software. Even though my task was fully completed within the free trial, I'm going to subscribe for a few months just as a thanks. And if I have occasion in the future for a slideshow, this will be my first and only choice. Thank you.

- The search UI for Unsplash and Pexels in the new media browser has been overhauled to be more intuitive. Search field and filtering is now inline with the Unsplash or Pexels source. - Music.app in new media browser now supports audio files that are stored outside the user's "Music" folder, e.g. on an external disk. If read access rights are not available, the user is alerted to grant access rights to the folder containing the audio files. - The new media browser no longer crashes with playlists containing duplicate songs. - Changing a transition via the context menu in the Storyboard now applies to the whole selection, instead of just the clicked transition. - Using the "Duplicate" command in the File menu now works correctly. - Got rid of some memory leaks after closing a slideshow document. - Internal stability improvements.
