Quickly and easily rotate any Quicktime movie file captured with the wrong orientation. Many of us have done this with our phones and cameras, now there's a way to fix it! Easy to Use: Allows you to correct the orientation of your movie files without any complex settings. Just use the big friendly rotate buttons to spin your movie the correct way. Photos extension The app includes a Photos extension that allows you to remote movies directly inside the Photos app. Save and Export options: Either save the rotated movie in its original format for viewing the movie with Quicktime or use the export facility to use with other players.
Worthless, says it cannot read a .vob file
I bought this because i needed to view a video that is in .vob format. The video was taken sideways and I needed to change the orientation while viewing. When I tried to drag the .vob file to the app, I got an error message saying “unable to open file.” Tried with several different .vob files so I know it is the app and not the files.
very bad
this application very very very bad
not what I was hoping for
This application does what it claims. It rotates a video that is filmed sideways. However it does NOT correct orientation. I was hoping for an app that would fix videos that are filmed by idiots who have no idea how to hold their iphone when making a movie.
Crashes when dragging video every time!
So, can't say if it's good at what it's supposed to do or not. Downloaded 10 day free demo of TranformMovie online and it rocks! Wish I could get my money back on this app and give it to them for the demo!
Read the FINE PRINT
Only rotates the video for viewing in your computer. You really want to EXPORT the video to REALLY change the video orientation for good everywhere.
The movie rotated easily
This app lived up to its name, worked perfectly, and the price was right.
Does what it says
Unfortunately, it is better for one-off rotations. If you rotate one movie, go to 'save as' and try to do another, you need to manually put another name in for the new output or it will just save over the previous version. That being said, it couldn't be simpler to rotate one movie. So confused as to why Quicktime, iPhoto, iTunes, etc don't support any kind of video rotation..
