very good could use very little changes
the 3 chagnes i think that should be are not that important but would be nice like there are 3-4 stable video diffsion draw things offacial models that dont work and the UI could use some more organzition or labels that could be turn on or off to tell you what things do and how to use them which all of those are just things that would be nice to get fixed or imporved everthing else with the app is amazing!

Saw recent papers on stable diffusion being able to generate text to image in real time, up to 100 images per second depending on the model, but draw things on apple silicon still takes 2-3 minutes for one lower resolution image. Wondering when the update will come to use real time models that will generate images faster.
United StatesBrilliant but Still with Some Issues
Draw Things is a brilliant solution for image generation. Having experience with Stable Diffusion, I would like to use Draw Things to its fullest, but I am experiencing objective issues I cannot overcome. One of those issues is that I cannot access all the image generation settings on the left-hand side pane. The thing is that when I select "All" to have access to all the image generation settings, they do not all fit on the pane, even if I collapse the descriptions of all of them. The options don‘t fit the pane even after I have picked the second largest screen resolution available, which is 1600 by 1200 pixels, and stretched the Draw Things window vertically, from top to bottom (the horizontally largest of the resolutions available for my screen is 1680 pixels but then vertically it is 1050 pixels, which is less than 1200, and the extra 80 pixels horizontally would not help in this case, where it is the vertical plane in which some of the options do not fit on the pane). Reasonably, I thought that in this case it should be possible to scroll through the pane and thus have access to every one of the settings. To my surprise, though, the pane not only doesn‘t have a slider, either to the left or right of it, but it also does not react to any keyboard inputs design for navigation. What I mean here are the arrow keys, the Page Up and Page Down keys, and even the Home and End keys, all tried after I have clicked on the free pane area, trying to select it as the active area - none of the keys mentioned allow for moving either up or down the pane. What moves up and down instead of the left-hand side pane is the area with the textbox for the positive prompt and the individual prompts, or the tokenized parts of them, underneath it. I use my Mac remotely through my iPad, which is the reason I don‘t use, and thus don‘t have, a physical nouse with my Mac. Even if I had such a physical mouse, though, it seems that this wouldn‘t help either, since it seems that even if I tried to use the scrolling wheel of the mouse to scroll through the left-hand side pane, the part scrolling would still be the area with the textbox for the positive prompt. The other issue is that when I want to download the "Face Restoration" model, Draw Things downloads it to 100% in step 1, but then nothing happens, and it does not pass on to step 2, even after an hour or more. Draw Things is a fantastic and powerful frontend for running Stable Diffusion image generation and it’s COMPLETELY FREE. No in-app purchased, no ads, just a solid interface for running Stable Diffusion locally on Apple silicon. Runs excellently on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, runs even better on my iPad Pro, and I understand it runs extremely well on Macs as well. Don’t mess around with other AI image generators, just grab this one. The learning curve is probably a bit steeper than other apps, but the upside is that you then know how to use a powerful AI tool completely free.

Seriously, anybody who has given this a 1 star review just aint gettin it! I've been casually watching the AI world develop, anticipating what technological marvels and miracles await us... this would certainly fit under both of those categories. Not the Draw Things app itself, but what it enables you to do. The developer of this application is doing a truly generous (and noble) community service to the non-software engineering public by releasing this thing... for anybody coming here from their vanilla text to image AI model, hang on to your hats! I was using Adobe Firefly previously, absolutely amazed at its capability then.. now, a few months later, Firefly seems like a gimmick, a cheap quarter machine gag compared to running local diffusion models through GUI's like Draw THings. I can't think of anything that has provided the user with this much capability and power, for FREE. Releasing a relatively user friendly GUI for free to the general public goes hand in hand with the principles behind the development of Stable Diffusion to begin with... to democratize these powerful AI models, to ensure that giant tech companies, with their enormous compute resources, don't have a monopoly on this kind of technology, and to make the AI models compact enough to be able to operate locally on normal consumer hardware... well, to the devoloper of Stable Diffusion, I say congratulations, you did it! And to the devoloper of Draw Things, I have nothing but respect and praise for the work you've done here. Regardless of your motivations, this is a great thing you have done, and continue to do. Thank you!
