The application calculates the photographic depth of field and its associated hyperfocal distance which is especially useful for landscape photographers.
All metric, worthless in the US
Might have been good... But I'll never know. It's all metric. No apparent option for switching to English. Oh well.
sleek, simple, excellent
I use this app all the time. Easy to use, great interface...and it calculates DoF for all sensor sizes. The price is right, too. Best of Show.
Great and easy app
Just what I needed but I join the call for uom in ft
Quick and Easy
The app is quick and easy to use. Just fill in the blanks and it calculates depth of field. The complaints about a maximum distance of 100m are not relevant unless you have an extremely long zoom lens. if the subject is 100m away, you are goin gto be focused near infinity and depth of field is going to be long enough that it is not relevant.
It's good and simple
This is pretty much what I was looking for. It is useful for seeing how the different parameters interact. I only wish that distances could be switched to feet instead of meters, but maybe that will be a future enhancement ;-)
So easy to make useful
Limitations of ditance to 100m and focal length to 100mm make this not useable for a large portion of my shooting. And not having an option for English/American units (feet/inches) removes a large population of possible users. It would be so easy to address these, but I'm going to have to grab one of the paid apps.
Needs improvement
Minimum distance from subject is only 1m, would like ft and inches. Maximum focal length is 100mm, looking for 200mm.
