Hear me out. The camera’s quality and the motion system is just great. However, it discounted me out of nowhere when I was out of state which made me freak out that someone broke in my house. When I went back, it was plugging and everything seems okay. However, it wasn’t working. I tried every instruction in the troubleshooting. Yet, I can’t seem to find the WiFi. I simply can not connect to the camera anymore literally 5 days since I started using it.

It lets you connect more than one phone and more than one camera simultaneously. I’m just having trouble connecting an iPhone. Android was easy.

I was really excited to get this camera in as I had to go help family in another state and needed a way to keep an eye on my home while away. The instructions were well laid out and there was even a QR code to scan that led to an instruction video. The instruction video seemed very well made. But this is where being “user friendly” ends. In the instruction video when connecting the device it showed the WiFi network name already filled in and a password to that network being entered. However, when I started setup, the WiFi network box was blank. I tried tapping on the box in order to manually choose a network, but nothing happened. As another reviewer said, you can only put in a password which makes this camera nothing more than a charging brick. (And an inefficient one at that since only one USB port can be utilized at a time. Needless to say I feel very disappointed as I waited an extra day to leave just to get this camera delivered and set up. TL;DR A person isn’t able to choose a WiFi network during set up and with the box for WiFi network being blank, there’s no way to connect the camera to a WiFi network. Without being able to connect the camera, you can’t view the camera on a phone. Therefore, the camera is completely useless. I feel an update to the app allowing a user to choose their WiFi network from a drop down list would solve this issue.

There is only one line to enter the WiFi password. The spot to enter the WiFi name doesn’t allow anything to be entered making the app completely unusable. Which also makes the camera completely unusable. Thanks for the waste of money!
