I really enjoy the ease of Capto. The more I use it, the more I like it. I am still learning....HOWEVER, the clarity of what I copy and paste is really on point...and I am able to capture needed info and review when necessary!

I use Logic X Pro to make music and I wanted to make tutorials on how I mix my songs. I simply can't. Cannot. Will not work. I set up all the outputs properly, but when I playback my audio, there is internal feedback that I can't get rid of. I'm so disappointed. It should be so simple
United StatesCapto is broken?
I have used Capto for a long time now and suddenly its screen recording tool is not functioning. I am running MacOS Big Sur and It won't show up in system prefs privacy, screen record. When manually added to the screen recording list, it still does not allow screen recording permissions. Quicktime and Screenflow 7 work fine. I have tried different solutions to resolve this, but all have failed, including system and software, updates, etc. Usually this means its the software. Please fix this!

I use this all the tme for documentary work. Some things will trigger a black screen for what you are recording, but changing browsers can be a work around. Mostly I'm ripping YouTube as temp assets, and I use it all the time. There are definitely some issues, some glitches when you are trying to enable it - I still can't get it to work on my Mac Air. But it works enough once issues are sorted to be quite useful.

Only takes screenshots of websites, and not advanced ones. So I can scroll apps and screenshot those. Also, Slack does not support the browser Capto uses, so I couldn't take screenshots of threads in the native Slack app nor in the browser.

I've really enjoyed using Capto for both webcam and screen captures. I only have 2 complaints: (1) Webcam should record in full 1080p even when screen recording simultaneously; (2) You should have the option to record/export webcam and screen capture as 2 separate files.

I have been using this software for screen capture for several years now and have been very satisfird. My screen capture needs are pretty simple , mostly documents or portions od documents, and Capto has worked great for me and it is relatively low cost. If your needs are similar I recommend it.
