It doesn't scrape your data or charge a ridiculous subscription, and you get a basic set of filters and effects with some ability to adjust them. Not as polished as it could be but not bad.

I am primarily a BW darkroom photography guy. This makes it very simple to get BW tones that are close to a proper darkroom print. That said, it only has some very basic controls so it can’t be your only editor. I do wish they included filters to simulate red, orange and yellow filters and a cropping tool. That would make it a great product for folks like me. As it is, though, it fills a hole that isn’t well addressed in other apps.

I made the in-app purchase for manual adjustments back in 2018. Now it’s telling me to I need to buy it again before I can save an image with manual adjustments. It throws an error when I press restore. Help!

Having actually shot film years ago, the results provided by this app ”seem “more organic & genuine than some other presets offered by various sources. The curves tool really elevates the processing. The fade & vignette tools are also essential for artistic adjustments. This is all housed within an elegant & simple interface that does not get in the way of achieving your visualization. I hope the developer will not abandon support & future updates for one of the finest black & white film emulators.
