Can’t find what I need
Navigation is clumsy. Can’t get to subscriber services for vacation Honda or to report missing paper.

I stopped physical paper delivery because the paper was delivered consistently so late. Although I advised this issue to customer service numerous times, nothing was ever done to correct it, so I had to stop delivery since it was coming after I left for work at 8 am in morning. This is a problem since the news is already one day old for the most part. Long time customer, zero customer service. Now I have app, and it is also very unreliable Often gets hung up and then you can’t proceed through the paper. So frustrating for a paper that is just not that good. A few good writers. That’s it. Shame

8/27/23 Gentlemen, I find this the most difficult format I’ve ever seen in a newspaper. How do I get back to my old format? It was easy for me to get from page or from section to section. I did not have to load a PDF to get to a page. No operation is easy on this new format. Is this because I’m in the eedition?My wife still gets the old format on her iPad. I have been so frustrated with this app that I could scream (or curse)! It is clunky, not user friendly, my settings mean nothing, it is not seamless, nor is it intuitive. It is obvious the app designers haven’t a clue how users use the app or it wouldn’t be so clunky. A very expensive app to read my local newspaper.

Providence Journal didn’t even have an app when I signed up (from what I know) I tried shutting down my payments via my subscribed email and i couldn’t get through…. So I let it go for a few more months because it was such a mysterious task… but my work has been in lingo and I’m very insufficient in funds. I’ve only found this app when I called citizens bank about getting these payments shut down…. IM STILL GETTING CHARGED $11.99 a month!!!!!! I will be calling my bank when they open. I care about local news but I don’t have the time to read whatever ProJo posts (as they call it on the app) I don’t have the time or the money…. PLEASE STOP CHARGING ME…. I am struggling and constantly dealing with insufficient funds…. I’m almost done finally paying off my car’s 6yr loan and I don’t need it repossessed…. PLEASE STOP

Unfortunately there is no way to select zero stars. I thought the previous version was a little clunky but useable. This latest version that I was required to download is horrible. Zooming and fit to screen of pages is not friendly and inconsistent. Browsing form page to page sometimes skips pages and makes them unreadable. Like the Sunday comics? Good luck in reading all pages. Maybe some who actually reads a paper should be the one who designs and quality assurance of the app that gets published to the readership. The Providence Journal has destroyed the print version and now they are on their way to wrecking the digital also. Gannet should be ashamed in what they have delivered.
