Great RSS/Feedly reader

A little on the pricey side for a news reader. The UI is clean and the app has some nice features, so I have no problem supporting the developer.

Love this app

The feedly integration is easy to set up. Thank you for that! What makes this app stand out for me is the search filtering. That is incredibly useful. Smart folders for search criteria would be most welcome.

Does not provide full text articles in half my feeds

Other RSS readers like Mister Reader give me full text. This one is hit and miss. Shame since is beautiful otherwise. Wish I could get my five bucks back.

Far better than the rest of the google readers

I have not bothered to review an app before, but I wanted to review this one. I have tried most of the other major ios readers (feedler, etc), and they all felt kind of clunky and constricted to me. Not rssbook - the app is very thoughtfully designed and intuitive to use. It features sliding screens that make excellent use of the space on the ipad screen. It is very quick and responsive, the layout is very attractive to look at, and all the tools you might want to have available (links to web, email, twitter, etc) are right where you need them, when you need them. This app is a real pleasure to use, and I have no idea why it has not developed a much larger audience. A very enthusiastic 'thumbs up'!

Unique, it’s a article repository.

RssBook is far different from other rss readers. It synces feed by feed and can adjust sync setting per feed. It's a unique feature. This make RssBook as a article repository. great concept, great works. No other app can compete with this extreme offline features.

Good Reader - but needs some work

This is a beautiful RSS reader and arguably produces the best rendering of cached articles since the late - if not always lamented - Printful. It's incredibly comprehensive and as a result perhaps a little intimidating at first use. For instance, while RssBook syncs seamlessly with Google Reader it's a bit disconcerting to be confronted with 5000-odd articles when your Google account is always upto date! This results in a fair amount of clutter at times There are also some noticeable short-comings. There's no obvious "mark all as read" button (you need to select "unread only" using the filter icon). Frustratingly the app doesn't remember filter setting - I'm a bit OCD obessive and filter feeds by Label and then Feeds (so as to mirror my Google settings), but everytime you relaunch, the UI resets to default. Finally, for an app that is so detailed, the inability to drill and pull the linked web page into cache if the RSS feed itself is truncated seems a bit of an omission? Still I'll give this 3/5 for the moment and given as the developer appears to have a list of updates up his sleeve, I'll similarly update this review.
