Podurama gives you control
All these other apps restict how you organize your shows to the categories that either don't make sense at all, or don't make sense for how you want to organize your shows. Podurama gives you the control over that!
Promising app and unkind people
This app needs work. Better on desktop and mobile than Overcast in some ways. But, it's still buggy and needs work. I am also concerned with it being "free". How are they funding this? Makes me wonder when they will be sold off to some big company that ruins the apps and the service. The interaction I've had with the people behind this app has left me frustrated to say the least. From what I've encountered, they do not listen and are a bit immature. I'll be deleting this app and moving back to Overcast.

I love it!
I love how easy it is to use and organzie my podcasts. I follow lots of them and this app makes it easy for none of them to get lost in the shuffle.
Excellent for organization - with some audio/visual bugs
The cross-platfrom functions of Podurama are terrific. It's great for someone like me who listens to a variety of different genres of podcast and wants a different download, speed, order, etc. for many of them. It's easy to set it up on a computer and it's all synced to my phone. There is one big thing (and a couple little things) preventing me from loving Podurama: 1. Increasing play speed isn't as smooth as most other apps. Even at 1.1x it has a noticeable stuttering effect on sound quality. For me this makes the app almost unusable, so hopefully they can improve it. 2. The UX for some of the best features is hard to discover and understand. 3. The search doesn't do partial matching on podcast names very well. Typing only 1-2 words doesn't find podcasts starting with them. I have to enter the full name before a podcast comes up. 4. There are lots of tiny UI issues. Buttons aren't aligned correctly, contrast is poor, and typography isn't consistent.
A Good Start - but needs work to be useful to me
1. The downloads lack organiztion. Only the name of the episode is on the filename! You cannot use the downloads folder to play back podcasts, or archive them, because if you have 50 podcasts, and you want to hear the latest one of a specific podcast, you are out of luck.
It Was Great!
This podcast unit works well with my Mac, my IPhone13 and my Ipad. No complaints. I am able to keep the podcasts organized and nes episodes are automatically.
