Seriously BAD App
It’s so buggy that it shuts down every time I attempt to launch anything from the menu. It’s so bad that already deleted it.
goofy screen format on iPad, deleted it
downloaded today; only displays as an iPhone size vertical rectangle on my iPad, so deleted it
Menus crash app
I can’t click on the topics menu. App is broken.

Are you guys serious? What a disservice to the best news program on TV.
Doesn’t work at all
All I get is a blank page and spinning wheel when I tap on any menu item.

it is not a well-written app
i love pbs newshour. the app has many bugs, which pbs doesn’t bother to fix. they probably won’t even see this review. it constantly crashes my iphone 12. it starts the full episode mid stream, which means half the show is done. oh, it doesn’t let you start at the beginning, since it causes all touch to stop functioning, so you can not rewind anything. when you restart it, the sound is muted and can not be unmuted. sometimes, it will play a story, instead of the full episodes. most of the time, when the app is launched, all touch controls on an iphone are disabled. if you delete the app and reinstall, as i have many times, the problem always returns. obviously, the developers have never actually used or tested this app before sticking it on the app store. when you write to them about it, they do not respond. i would just avoid the app entirely.
