Why so many ads?
I subscribed, yet can barely get through a sentence without a FULL SCREEN ad popping up.

This app is so annoying with their Ads. You start reading a story and then start scrolling and an AD takes over the entire screen. You close the AD, continue reading the story, scroll a little more and another AD takes over the entire screen. It’s completely annoying, interrupts you reading the story and not worth the head ache. Save yourself the anxiety and get your news elsewhere.

Since there most recent update, the landscape mode is no more. No one reads an ipad in portrait mode. Hopefully, this will be corrected shortly. In it's current state, the app is dysfunctional.

This app throws up a lot of advertisements. Scroll two paragraphs into an article, BOOM. Full screen ad takes over. Sometimes articles display in web format, sometimes in app format. In a word, it's clunky. A real shame because this kind of experience could drive away subscribers, especially at the price we're paying. We can't afford to lose our local paper!!
