It’s annoying with all the pop up ads
Have always believed NDTV to give us trust worthy and latest news. Been using the app for over a decade and loved getting connected to Indian sub continent from USA. BUT ITS SO ANNOYING TO SEE THE POP UP ADS RHAT WE CAN NOT CLOSE. FEELS HELPLESS WHEN I CANT EVEN CLOSE THE AD WINDOW. FEEL THAT YOU ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OUR SUPPORT AND READERSHIP. ALMOST DECIDED TO DELETE THE APP IF THIS CONTINUES

A News app that focuses more on ad revenue by selling pages that slow down the user experience of their own app. Ridiculous gaming ads take complete control of the app, do not allow users to even dismiss, and another 20-30 seconds of your life has just been wasted. I had high respect once upon a time for NDTV. Any app that prioritizes ad placement over UX does so at the cost of diminishing returns. I refuse to be suckered by such outlets going forward. Enough is enough.

The app randomly redirects to App Store for downloads or some web sites even when you click on a news article link.

Turning from best to worst. With constant ad pop-ups. Some can’t close also as they cover full screen without close(x) option. Making you reboot phone. Video’s played leave voice track open even when app is closed and play in music app on bluetooth. Too much content and at times repeat on the home page.

Ads dont show a close button in one place and they move it around. Sometime tapping on the close button opens a page in Safari, kind of like click bait. This looks like a shady site now

Used to be good under previous ownership. Now articles are riddled with grammatical errors - no proofing whatsoever. Plus app flickers when articles are opened…highly unstable.

Fixes - Podcasts section has been optimized for ease of use - An issue with story timestamps for users outside India has been rectified NOTE - We are now asking for Location permission in the app. Since we support content from many regions in India and the World, this helps us tailor content based on your location. This is completely opt-in.
