Just OK
I don’t understand why this app cannot be identical to the USA Today version. When turning pages, the display should got to the top of the page, not the bottom where I ended on the previous page. I am a paid subscriber, yet I have to endure additional ads at the beginning of the paper, and at the first page of the sports section. Until recently, this was not a problem. The ads appear superimposed on the top of the newspaper page and there is no way to skip them. You have to just wait them out. If it weren’t for the local news, I would cancel and just read USA Today.

Unless all you care about is UT and High School Football this paper useless. The title of this paper should be Knoxville Football, Football and more Football.

Today is Tuesday, April 2. Every time I click on an article it instead re-opens the previous article I was reading. This has occurred multiple times today and has been a sporadic problem in the past. If you’re going to charge me $15/mont for an electronic edition at least have a usable app. Also, the blackout ads at the beginning of each section are annoying enough but they reappear if you go back to the front page of a section which is beyond annoying. Oh, also the Daily Times app has none of these problems and their sports people get in a story even if the Vols or Lady Vols play a late game. David Rule, Alcoa, TN 865-680-3612
