Traffic Maps shows the state of the traffic in real time on two maps: - Each map shows and follows your position while you drive - Set the zoom in each map independently, the app will remember it the next time you use it - Set the size of the maps, you can also remove one of them and use just one - Use the button in each map to make it follow the bearing of your vehicle, or to see the map bearing north from above - Choose if the map will be shown in the direction you are moving, or if your location will be placed in the center of the map - Choose if after moving a map, it is centered in your position automatically, manually or after a time With Traffic Maps you can check if your highway exit is jammed and choose another, o change your way if there is a traffic jam ahead. The Pro version does not have ads, has a Siri shortcut and map styles. Note: this app uses your GPS, this can drain your battery quickly.
Widget
Should have widgets for real time traffic
Why
Why does one need a credit card to establish a “free” account????
Worst app ever
I do not like it. The only reason why I downloaded was because my old traffic app did not support my new iOS. Do not recommend to anyone
So helpful!
There are two very busy highways between my work and my home. Sometimes with the slightest fender bender, the two highways can get backed up for hours! This traffic map can give advance warning so that an alternate route can be used. Has helped so many times!

Great App. Night mode is not as good as the day mode and when you’re scrolling the map it quickly reverts you back to your current position which is annoying, but I still truly recommend this app. Thumbs up Awesome!! I changed the settings as suggested by the developer and it’s even better now. I use this app daily. A++
Construction
Does it show construction
Automatic recenter feature will drive you crazy
When zooming on another area I.E. a traffic jam area, map automatically recenters.👎 very annoying…No way to turn it off.😡😡😡
- Updated to iOS 17 - You can choose if the app will show the map in the direction you are moving, which is the new default. Or if the app will place your location in the center of the map, which was the behaviour in past versions. If you don't like the new behaviour, choose the old one in settings - Support for Apple Maps, you can now choose between Google Maps and Apple Maps - New button to change the size of the maps - New button to toggle between 1 and 2 maps - Compass for each map - Legend for the controls on the maps - Choose if after moving a map, it is centered in your position automatically, manually or after a time - Dark / light mode - Siri shortcut - Map styles
