FUEL DRIVERS
This mobile payment application provides a secure and convenient way to pay for fuel at the comfort of your car, as well as purchasing any items inside the store at participating Shell stations in the United States.
• You can link your Shell branded credit cards, checking account (via Shell S Pay), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or directly add your credit/debit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover.
• There is a NEW way to pay with Shell eGift card. Add or purchase Shell eGift cards from your app!
• To pay for fuel outdoors, simply unlock the pump using the app. Or to pay inside the c-store, present the app QR code to the cashier. Either way, you are back on the road in no time. Everything you need is in the app, including loyalty program integration, receipts, offers, and station locator.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE DRIVERS
The Shell App now supports EV drivers! Drivers using the Shell App can select the EV option to access the Shell Recharge network. The Shell App allows EV drivers to locate the nearest charger, check the station’s charging status, start and stop charging, and easily make in-app payments.

Shell Pay & Save eliminates the need to carry multiple cards, reduces the number of prompts you have to answer, and is integrated with the Fuel Rewards® program so you can save automatically on every fill up, every day!
• New to the Shell App? You can earn a one-time 25¢/gal savings by downloading the app and completing your first Shell Pay & Save fuels purchase.
• All Shell App users earn additional savings for continued use of Shell Pay & Save. You can now customize your savings by choosing to redeem only everyday savings or to use your full rewards balance with Fuel Rewards choice in the Shell App.
• New loyalty status added, see potential new rewards to gain with Platinum status.

I reside in Canada now but spend 3-4 Winter in Florida. I only use this app in USA as the set up is to link my AA account through Fuel Rewards App. Instead gas price discount, I got AA points. It all on 2021-2022. When 2024 new years came, it stops working. I don’t get gas price discount neither AA points. Delete both Apps, re-installed apps with identical sets of credentials. I could no longer link my AA account through Fuel Rewards App. An error message said my AA account to link to other account??? The Shell app claims to be good for USA & Canada, this is totally false as it never worked. Every time I crossed the border security issue needs to sign in, error message claiming either user name or password not recognized or incorrect. This is my last message to Shell, this Shell can’t help me resolve this issue. This app is useless to me, I will most likely junk it & go with BP or Exxon Mobil.

I “was” a Greenlots account holder. I was forced to move to the Shell Recharge app. That app has been pulled from the app store. This App will not honor your old greenlots logins (nor apparently carry over any credits you may have had). Avoid this app.

This app has always had a lot of bugs. Most of the time the “Shell Pay and Save” doesn’t accurately count (if at all) the number of fill ups. Having to use this app and fuel rewards is just ridiculous. Can’t even imagine why it can’t be one app. Lately the app is utterly useless. I just receive the logo with “We’re sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.” I just need to try Texaco or Chevron and cut the amount of wasted time. Clearly the programming on this app is stuck in the early 2000s.

Large global company and their EV Smart charger very difficult to sign up for. Apparently there are 2 apps and no one knows why but the recharge app without a blue plug is useless and is the only one you actually find on the App Store. This experience will make you want to go back to gasoline if that’s the goal.

Yesterday, I got a “Purchase Limit Exceeded” error when trying to get gas. One pump gave me a couple of errors, but when I tried a different pump, I was stopped from buying fuel and had to go down the street to Love’s. As I’m a Platinum member, it kept me from using the special 15¢ savings discount with the vehicle that can easily take the 20 gallon limit. As I had an issue with postponing the discount before with another vehicle with a smaller tank, I won’t be using Shell for a while. Shell is losing some of my business because of these design issues.

You HAVE TO use WiFi or the app won’t recognize the station. Want 5 Stars? Allow it to work over cellular network for increased security . . . and . . . allow customers to buy just a car wash without having to pump gas. Fix two things, get two more stars. Thanx

I leave in Puerto Rico , I see over 10 Shells stations around while driving, but NONE ON THE APP !! iPhones charge you with a discharge of an app and no use for this one, somebody please write down NOT AVAILABLE IN PR !! Thanks!!
