Monitor the status of Oregon's roadways: Statewide Closed Circuit TV images (CCTV), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), roadway incidents, road weather reports, traffic detectors and work zone activity in a map view with favorites.
What a joke.
Very hard to use and the information is useless and unorganized. Please add clearly when chains are required and where. Please figure out mile markers. Take a look at Wyoming and take notes this app my 6 year old could have developed
Terrible for travelers
They need to let you choose the area you will be traveling in or at least do Mountain Passes like Washington State.
This is the worst app I’ve ever used.
Don’t download this one, download the old version. These developers seem to have spent more time figuring out how to make it show numbers when it’s zoomed out than to make it work. It is constantly changing on my screen and you can’t hardly click on anything. Takes 2 seconds after each swipe or zoom to do anything.
Absolutely worthless
Worst road conditions app I have. As a trucker I have 511 apps for all of the western states and this is by far the worst. Every other state is color coded on the road to show at a Glace what conditions are, there’s no clicking on circles to find the conditions. When traveling cross state it takes way too much time to find out what the whole trip looks like. It’s easier to go to the website and scroll.
Perfect
My family frequently goes to the mountains for winter sports and this app helps us tremendously. The developer has made constant improvements to this app and it is our trusted travel companion.
Is it April 1st?
This app is worthless. Why the warning when you open Wreck Ahead?
No purpose for this to exist
I get a message in the original Wreck Ahead app telling me I can get a “refactored” app. Refactored? Are you kidding me? Who talks like this? The old app works ok, it just needs to be better for touch navigation. I thought that’s what this update would be. I hope the state of Oregon isn’t paying for this.
Added traffic detectors. Corrected some measurement units.
