Schedules are just plain wrong
I have 2 apps for the train schedules on NJ transit so I can compare. It’s showing me the weekend schedule when I am asking for Tuesday. The app from NJTIX Is correct I can’t rely on this app.
Update fixed problem
Thanks devs
Latest update breaks all the functionality I’ve enjoyed for years
The latest update which adds carpooling, totally breaks the functionality I’ve enjoyed for years. First of all, I was forced to switch from the MNR dedicated version to this generic version because the verification email links only point at this version’s App Store page, not the version I’d actually been using. Secondly the verification emails don’t open the app. Therefore the app never gets the notification that the email address is verified. Instead, the verification emails always open the link to the App Store. When pressing the open button in the App Store takes me to the app but doesn’t cause the email verification to complete. I’ve tried it a dozen times, with it feeling 100% of the time. This new version also refuses to hold my default route. I have to bring up one of my favorite routes in order for it to open anything. Previously when I would open the onTime app, it would show my default schedule. Now I have to explicitly select it every single day. If you have not yet upgraded, for the love of all that’s good, please do not do so. Developer, please fix this rubbish.
Horrible since the update
None of the trips that I had previously saved will show up. Completely useless. Why do they screw around with things after it was working fine. Can’t even find the schedule anymore.
Where is my countdown?
This new app update is terrible! Much harder to read the new font and the countdown timer is missing - it was really helpful to know how long it was until the train left. Also, the app doesn’t seem to remember my favorite station pairing. I have to input it every single time I use it now. C’mon, people! Fix this!
Update fixed the issue - favorites still not sure loading
Hi Devs. The app used to automatically have my house and my work station locations upon starting the app. Now I have to manually click my favorite. Not sure why the auto populate was removed, but it shouldn’t have been. It was much easier to just open the app and automatically see the preset locations instead of now having to click the locations every time you open the app.
V10 is broken
All I see is a Join Carpool screen that I can’t dismiss.
Thanks for using onTime! This release brings bug fixes that improve our app to help you get the latest train schedule and find carpool matches. - Fixed Track info for LIRR and MNR - Improved performance.
