MBTA Transit provides many useful features with an intuitive user interface: - Show MBTA routes and stops - Display real-time predictions, schedules and vehicle locations for stops. (All the data is provided by MBTA. This app fetches data from MBTA APIs and displays it to you. If you get inaccurate real-time prediction or no vehicle location, it's most likely related to MBTA.) - Save stops you use frequently to the home screen. You can also easily rearrange saved stops. - The MBTA map and fares are provided. You can also visit corresponding webpages by tapping the links. MBTA Transit is not affiliated with MBTA.
Nope.
No real time data most of the time.
Choosing Routes and magnifying the letters
It is easy to find the route l want to use, though mentioning the route end such as Clarendon for the last stop and other buses routes final destinations would be like the bus notices over the windshield. But that is a small point. What really makes it hard to use for me is that I can’t increase the size of the lettering. I am new to the iPhone so I don’t know if I am not using it right. Whichever, when standing at dark curb in the rain it would be great if I could enlarge the letters. You know, it just occurred to me that it would be nice if it would announce the bus approach at around 5 minutes away. And maybe it would be good for blind people if you don’t already have a function for that. It is great that it is so straightforward to use.
The 1453 Orange Line rudeness
The 1453 Orange Line train refused to open the door for me even though I was on the platform waiting to get in at the Stonybroook station
Bad
The “T” is so bad that it’s not worth rating.
Reliable and Consistent
As a long time MBTA Rider I have had a need for a convenient and accurate route service. Having had a smart phone going back to 2010 when the early models were released, gave me a chance to use many similar apps. This one stands out compared to the other dozen or so that I’ve installed and used through the years. Thank you!
Best MBTA app I have tried
Simple, no ads/payment required, and very informative. The bad reviews on here seem to be mostly complaints about the MBTA, which is not affiliated with the app. It didn’t see a way to look at the bus routes on a map on the app but I couldn’t do this on other apps I tried either.
Great app
Intuitive and very easy to use and figure out.
- automatically scale text when users change system font size - changed minimum supported iOS version to 13.0
