CultureFinder allows the user to locate cultural places that are near their location such as museums, art galleries, libraries, cafe's and book stores. An address can be entered to search for places such as museums in areas away from the users local area such as entering London, New York or Moscow as well as more specific locations. Touch a place pin for the name of the place and touch the caption view that appears to look at place details. Depending on availability, place details include, name, address, phone number, open now, places's web site, reviews and photos. Can show up to ten photos and five reviews. The Places button, top left, determines what type of place to search for. The Center button has a menu to choose centering at location or use an address.
SPAM RISK/DO NOT DOWNLOAD
I do not have this app downloaded to my phone. However, it shows that I have at one point download it and is in iCloud for redownload. EVERY time I open my App Store on my iPhone I am constantly consistently bombarded with a pop-up stating "Shield needs to be updated"...and that "The developer off this app needs to update it to work with this version of ios." Then below the prompt is gives you two options to 'keep' or 'delete.' BUT- no matter what you choose, no matter how many times you choose keep/or/delete...it NEVER goes away. No joke. This is an ongoing pop up sh*t show trick that I have definitely never seen before on any phone; ever. Not sure what the end all benefit or hack or whatever this developer/app is aiming to 'achieve' here but something needs to happen to handle them and it accordingly. It blows my mind Apple could allow for this commonly complained about and reported often problem exists and carry on still.Definitely concerned about my information privacy, data leaks, tracking, etc and would just love an explanation resolution and quite frankly an apology would be rather nice too.
