A minimal chromatic tuner. Works well with any instrument, whether it's woodwinds, brass, strings or voice. Features: * Beautiful, clean and simple interface * Large current note representation and a high marker that change from red to green when the note is in tune * One-touch menu to apply a transposition to easily tune all instruments * Tap the main note to adjust preference to prefer sharps or flats * Works well on all screen sizes and orientations, from the smallest iPhone to the largest iPad
So simple
It does exactly what you need, no more no less. And a note to the writer of an earlier review she was having trouble getting the app to work. In my case, it worked fine on the pad forever, but I had to upgrade my iPhone to get it to work there, the retro download that was offered did not work. I would have titled this post “perfect” but that was used.
Free, but it doesn't do anything. No a single thing.
Just that.
Good tuner!
It works!
Absolutely perfect!
Accurate, simple, free, add-less, and works exactly as expected! Helps me with my practice and doesn’t interrupt me! I couldn’t recommend an app more!
Not accurate !!!
The frequency reading derived by this app is not accurate. Three other apps that I tested on my iMac and iPad derived the same tone frequency from my guitar and a test tone generator. This app is off by - 5.0 Hz. For example: a test tone of 80.9 Hz shows up as 82.4 Hz and a test tone of 181.6 Hz shows up as 185 Hz.

This App has issues. For one it doesn’t work. The App will open but freezes immediately and is not functional whatsoever.I’ve decided to uninstall this app .
Dev is on top of it
A great tuner with a great developer! There was an issue with the tuner awhile back, but it’s all fixed now. Thanks, you rock!
* iOS 15 is now required. * Fixed an issue where the tuner would not process audio when launched in some conditions, such as when using Siri to launch the app. * The UI now dims when audio session is starting up to make it easier to know when when the tuner starts capturing audio.
