Zen Musical Harmonizer ZMH-1 is a vocal/instrument harmonizer app. ZMH-1 has four different ways to interact with harmony (one at a time): **Playable Harmonizer--Play different chord buttons (Major, Major 6, Major 7, minor, minor 6, minor 7) to transform your one note into harmony in real time. **Pseudo-Smart Harmonizer--Reads your monophonic input signal (guitar, voice, etc.) and generates the correct harmony notes based on the chosen key. **Shifter--Shift your signal with a choice of intervals. **Octave--Makes your signal sound huge with up-to-five octaves per single note played or sung. ZMH-1 is ready to be used creatively by you! Use it on guitars, kick drums, vocals, and synths. Give your monophonic synth polyphony! Any source material you think might need thickening or harmony. It supports: **Audiobus (Third-Party App) **Inter-App Audio **Landscape Orientation **Stereo **Pan Knob For Each Channel **Volume For Each Channel Have a Zen Harmony experience. Requires headphones. Use either a microphone or instrument adapter. Audio will stop when screen locks. Go to Settings-->General-->Auto-Lock and choose Never for uninterrupted audio.
Simple but powerfull
Welldone. Better than some very expensive equipment
Bought, tried, and deleted
This app is barely functional. I bought it, tried it and deleted it.
Annoyed, this app is trash
Completely trash plugged my headphones in and it was extremely staticky. And I couldn’t get any clear harmonies and sounded like a robot. With I could get my money back
Really nice and helpful app
Gives great countermelodies in the major and minor. The volume knobs are also really helpful
Awesome app; does as advertised, then more
Comes with 4 unique, quality pitch FX out of the box. Works perfect with AudioBus (including animoog & sunrizer). Overall, a great new tool thats been giving me a lot of inspiration with my ambient sound design work. Definitely looking forward to a slicker UI and more DSP options in the near future. More than willing to pay for any new effect units created by this developer
Mixed results, sadly...
I'm retracting my previous negative comments if possible; "operator malfunction" strikes again! If you're not getting results go to Settings, find the app & make sure it is allowed to use the microphone, voila!! Really having fun with it now - cheers!! DS_in_the_ATX
I tried
If I find an issue with an app, I always try to contact the developer before posting a negative review. However, dude if you can't even post a working contact form on your site (hint: with a message field), then I have no recourse. I keep stumbling across apps in the "compatible with audiobus" library within audiobus itself. Unfortunately there seems to be no vetting process there and I'm learning to stop purchasing apps just because they're shown there and look like they might be cool. This app falls into that category, I thought, "hey, quick way to shift my guitar to a bass. Cool!" It does this function and some other cool things but there are two crippling issues: latency and output volume. When inserted as an effect in audiobus, the latency makes it unusable and its volume output is really low. So what happens is I record some things into loopy, switch this thing on and I can't even hear the signal it's putting out. So, would love to see these issues corrected. Would be useful then and I'd be happy to give it a 5 star rating. Running on an iPhone 6
