I slept on Taqsim…Soooo woke now!!!
Had this app for about a year and fiddled with it here n there. Not anymore. I now have the lifetime sub because it’s suuuuch a dope app. I had a chance to get into the nuts and bolts of how it works and how it suits my songwriting/improvisation/music production. Between the Bluetooth MIDI, extensive and sonically satisfying soundbank library, patch editing, and AUM/Ableton integration to mention a few of its facets I’m woke on TAQSIM. I just spent two extremely fun hours using this app and it felt like 30 min. Very fun and useful app.

I have almost all the music apps on my devices, but this is the ONLY ONE that I’ve ended up creatively inspired enough to record and learn into the app more by actually playing it and finding hidden surprises, WHILST, making MUSIC!!! -Try this-find the voice called Duduk and press the drone on button, then just use the drone for bass and listen to the sound on a speaker/earphones…

Many of my bread and butter patches are drawn from this fantastic app. However it has a tendency to crash inside the DAW and often is unable to reload. More so in Logic than in Cubasis 3. Guys, please fix this annoying bug!

This is the best soundfont loading app I have seen for the IOS like ever. It never fails to amaze me and I can load my favorite soundfonts! An amazing app as it is. However, I’d love an update where you can create your own soundfont file or something by audio (M4A, MP3, WAV, etc.) and have the option to export it as an SF2 file cause I’ve seen some apps that don’t have this quality. Please make this possible if you can. 😁
