Good, with manageable quirk
I changed my rating from five stars to two because I got a new iPhone XR and it doesn’t not work on it. I went to settings to turn the microphone on, but it didn’t prompt me to allow this app access. The app probably needs to be updated for new models of phones. Below is my previous review: Does not pick up my low E string. I just fret up 5 and it detects it as an A. I have paid more than $30 for a stand alone tuner that I have had to manage the same way. Useful and simple and always with me.
??
I can’t use the app because I can’t enable the microphone on my phone
Good and simple.
Pretty sensitive so give it a few seconds if you're tuning an acoustic.
Not even worth free
Horrible all around ... Slow, bad display ... couldn't get it off my phone fast enough.
Confusing
Doesn't pick up sound when I'm ayong and when it does it's to confusing to use
Don't waste your time.
This app didn't work at all. It wouldn't pick up the correct string even when I tried to manually select it. The auto select would jump from string to string when I was playing the same string the whole time. When it did actually get the right string it wouldn't pick up that I was changing the tune of the string. I'm sorry but this app is garbage...
Useless
The "detected note" wouldn't change no matter how much I loosened or tightened the string. The only way it would change is if I played a different string.
This app has been updated by Apple to use the latest Apple signing certificate. Here you have an improved version of TunerTool with some minor bugs fixed.
