Very buggy and doesn’t work as advertised
Really disappointed in this app. For the price and how clunky it is I would pass as using it is really frustrating. The trim feature rarely works and seems to lack precise control. The FX function also rarely works. Often when you click on a button on the interface it doesn’t respond. I’ve tried on iPhone and iPad so it’s not my device but a very buggy app. The manual is also worthless because it shows functions that aren’t even available in the actual app. Hard pass on this one I don’t think I’d even bother to use it if it was free but for $12 and an additional in app purchase it’s a rip off.
Need additional cords
You need some special adapter wish I knew that can we get a link to the right cord when I do apple camera kit adapter like 500 pop up
App crashing after recent update
Works but closes app 1/2 the time I try to click send.
Can’t save samples to phone?
Such a cool idea, but I can’t seem to save the samples to my phone to transfer later.
Please fix
Does not work for me, still left 5 stars. Hopefully a new update will fix it.
Great app, still with stability issues
I’m really happy this app exists. The developer recently added new features as an in-app purchase, which I plan to buy :). The only thing holding my back at the moment is that half of the time, my transfers crash midway through transfer to my Model:Samples. I’m using the most recent version that was released today/yesterday and transfer folders of samples from my iPad using “Select all” in the file picker. I also docked a star for the sample naming. Model:Samples doesn’t allow for sample title scrolling, so you only get to see the first 6 or so characters of the sample name on the device. This app, unfortunately, prepends a number to all of your sample names (e.g. BDKick.wav -> 012 BDKick.wav). I haven’t found a way to turn off this number prepending, and on the Model:Samples, this obscures the actual sample name (again, because there is no sample name scrolling, all you see is “012 BDKi” before it’s cut off). All in all though, I’m excited to see the developer continue to work on this app, and I hope they continue to do so! I’m gladly change my rating if the stability and naming concerns are addressed :)
Simple, effective, and open to further improvement
This app is incredibly useful, and its easy to wrap your head around. I have had a few performance issues, but i imagine those will be dealt with in time. I’m loving the frequent development. A few notes: -I think I speak for everyone when I say that timestretch would be a very welcome addition. -a basic eq would also be very useful -i’ve had issues with recording. Somehow the app always wants to play what i’m recording live as I record it, which means i have to turn the volume all the way down on my phone to record, and all the way back up to listen to the recording. If i don’t turn the volume down while recording, it records both the audio i want to pick up, and the audio from the phone speaker which leads to some unintended delay effects. Hopefully this feedback helps in future development. I’m excited to see how the capabilities may improve.
