I would love to love this.
I cannot get any midi connectivity to work. I’ve read the manual and watched a few videos. (One guy kept complaining how he’d never use midi and it’s a hassle but he still got it up and running in no time). I’ve tried old apps and new apps and mpe and Omni and many other options and I never get anything. I’ve enabled link and disabled link. I just don’t know what else to try. I’ve followed videos step by step with the same apps (even the same voices). Maybe my iPad is too new or the app is too old?
Simply Awesome
As a lifelong guitar/bass player who is now getting into ambient and atmospheric soundscapes , I think this app is amazing. You don’t have to be a musician to use it but if you are you are in for a treat. 10 out of 10 easily for me.
Make Sure You Want This App Before Purchase
Make sure you want this app before purchase, because he won’t refund you if you change your mind and decide it’s not for you. Just a heads up to anyone thinking of purchasing this app. It appears all sales are final.
Touchscaper: very nice
Highly recommend
Yes
Big time fun!
Pure joy!
This app is such a wonder of a touchscreen app. It has been a long while since a music app utilized the touchscreen in such cool ways. Great sounds inside this app. Amazing probability based sequencers. Full pattern/song capability. Powerful chord building feature with chord sequencing. And now, full midi out support as well. You can use any of your favorite synths and FX, and control them with this amazing touchscreen UI. If you haven’t already, check out the Moodscaper YouTube channel. Rob Jackson is not only an insanely talented developer, but also a great musician/producer as well.
Amazing With One Critical Flaw
Touchscaper is an app I recommend. It generates beautiful sounds and has become a great midi controller. It is one of my go to apps. The developer takes pride in his work to make this a top quality application. Thank you for making this work of engineering and musical art!
The first time you enable Link, you may see a permissions alert asking for confirmation to allow touchscaper to access your network. This is solely to support Link and is basically how Link enables apps to communicate.
