Generate audio signals with this handy app. Control the volume, waveform and frequency in real time with no pops or clicks. Tap the values to enter directly using the keyboard. The app also includes an audio extension instrument to be used within AUv3 compatible audio software. The instrument audio unit can even respond to MIDI notes from the software host! Not much here
It does generate tones but poor control, no on/off of tone other than quitting. When restart its back to the a default frequency and loudness. Which is loud. Only redeeming quality for me is it's only a buck wasted in trying it out.

I was looking for a completely simple tone generator app that would let me do a simple manual frequency sweep, and this app does that fine… but there's no L/R balance slider! I couldn’t believe the omission of such an obvious and necessary function. Add a balance control and I’ll give it five stars.
