Frustrating - Minor Changes and It Would Be Great
It almost gets it right. The app does a great job of identifying songs that need to be fixed. But the user control is terrible. It might apply the correct artwork but wrong year (I prefer the year the song was recorded, not when the new mix was done). There is no way to accept the artwork without the year change. Even worse, there is no way then to go back and manually edit the changes. Manually editing works in TunesGo, but not here. And the final frustrations are: no drag and drop for adding folders or files manually, no stopping it from scanning your entire music file, no accouting for using external drives, and does not respond to the keyboard to move the selected song up and down. All of these changes should be fairly easy to make, but it is not there. I upgraded to V2.0 and while it loads much faster, these problems are still not fixed. So close to being useful. But it is not, so, regretfully, do not buy it.

DEFINATELY LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! I got this program in order to add missing ID3 Tags (Song Details) to my music library containing just shy of 10,000 songs (-9700) and after analysing the tracks I found it had converted about 60 tracks to Korean, and mislabeled 3500 song titles, artists, or both, and mislabeled 5000 genre tags. This created much more of a headache than it did help me. I now have to go in and manualy edit about 7/10 of my library for misalaneous reasons. This is probably the worst piece of software I have ever used, and definately the worst purchase I ever made on the App Store.

if you dont know what music you have or dont care about having your library organized like meant to be, then this is for you. If you are looking for an app that will fix the mistakes on locations, duplicates, etc that iTunes often makes, this is not.

TidyMyMusic is great for adding/editing info and album covers to your music. Initially the cover art didn’t show up for me when transferring to my iPhone but it’s there now, one day later.
