Sounds great but for a 30 dollar reverb we need more than this.
It sounds really good, so if you don’t mind the price tag that alone might be worth it for you. A lot of people compare this to PRO-R and say they prefer PRO-R since it’s barely any more expensive yet far more complex. IMO this is relative, as I think of PRO-R as more of a mixing reverb. I’d compare this more to Eventide’s reverbs than Pro-R. This one, I’d use to shape the sounds of my instruments, not to “glue” my mix together. Considering this is also iPhone compatible which PRO-R isn’t, is also quite relevant for me. However, I think for a 30 dollar reverb I’d like the preset morph feature to NOT generate audio glitches. This transition should be smooth as silk. Right now it’s as rough as they come. This is so relevant since it is the best feature on this reverb and it is being completely obstructed as a performance tool by this small “detail”. If transitioning presets were a smooth experience, this reverb would be a 6/5 stars. Being able to drag your finger around the XY and have all of your parameters change based on the closest presets to your touch is incredible but it’s only really useful if we can do it live. Otherwise it’s a great addition but really just a gimmick to save on a few taps on a menu. Please smooth out this detail and I’ll update my review.
