Been using for years

This is my favorite app for sight reading. It's the only one I can find with a full keyboard, however it starts representing high and low notes with 8va etc instead of ledger lines which is not real world helpful at all. I'd like to see an option for all ledger lines, and maybe keyboard integration. Regardless, this is best so far, thank you. It has made a big difference.

First rate

I love this app because it is helping me re-learn how to sight read. The metrics really help you chart your progress. Even my six year old thinks it is a game! I play a few rounds every night before bed and have improved remarkably after just a little practice.

Great App !

I have been practicing on the iPhone App that I also like. But the iPad app with the longer keyboard is a better challenge. Well worth the money.

Add midi, adjustable 8va start points please

Great program, but needs a midi keyboard input as well as adjustable 8va/15ma start notes. Also should have a mode which highlights the correct key immediately when a wrong key is pressed. Finally, they keyboard should be slideable so you can work on slightly higher and lower ranges without having to select a new keyboard range. Otherwise, well worth the price. Practice every day for 1 month with this and you WILL learn to sight read. Start with just a few notes and add more as you get better. I have been playing for 35 years, and this program taught me to sight read.

Simple and effective

I know how to play the piano, but I would play by ear. But reading, basically I only really knew B, middle C and D by site, everything else, I had to count. This app has helped me to improve exponentially. I've probably gone about 2 dozen rounds or thereabouts in the past couple weeks and I'm already including sharps and flats and reading most notes with less that a second's response time. That for me is a vast improvement, far cry from where I was. I get excited anticipating "playing the game". Nerd, I know, but it beats the doll drum of siting at the piano with even simple practice pieces on paper. It's definitely how it's set up that makes the difference. It's like a game and you get immediate feedback if you get it wrong, rather than trying to guess while sitting by yourself. Love it!
