"See Music" will challenge your reading skills and give you feedback on your performance in real time. "See Music" will listen to you and give you a complete performance report with rhythmic and pitch accuracy, missed notes and all the relevant information you'll need to improve your playing.

INSTRUMENTS INCLUDED IN SEE MUSIC
"See Music" allows you to work on 6 instruments at the same time (great for doublings and multi-instrument players)
Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Euphonium, Violin, Viola, Cello (all 3 clefs), Bass, Piano (Treble and Bass), Guitar, Soprano Voice, Alto Voice, Tenor Voice, Bass Voice and Recorder.
MIDI KEYBOARD is also available if you want to practice using MIDI.

THE SEE MUSIC COMPOSER
With the Composer you can create three different kinds of exercises:
Note Trainer • Rhythmic Trainer • Complete-Melody Trainer

 - The Note Trainer is ideal for beginners or to practice uncomfortable ranges in your instrument. It does not involved rhythms so you can just concentrate in notes. See Music listens to your playing one note at a time, but shows you all the set at once so you can practice reading ahead.
It creates 8-note, 16-note, 32-note, and 64-note challenges.

 - In the Rhythmic Trainer mode composes rhythmic exercises and you tap the rhythms on your device. See Music listens to your playing and gives you an instant visualization and then a complete report at the end of the exercise.

 - The Complete-Melody Trainer composes entire melodies for you to sight-read. See Music listens to your playing and then gives you a report with rhythm and pitch accuracy for every note in the piece so you know if you were flat or sharp, late or early, or you missed the note all together. The final report also includes an overall score and other stats.

LEVELS
Simply set the level of the pieces by combining different musical elements:
Range, Skip-Steps, Keys, Time Signature, Rhythms, Speed and Length of the piece
See music will write pieces of up to 8 measures long for you to practice. If you choose a 1 measure long piece, SEE MUSIC composes a one measure exercise but repeats it 4 times so you can improve your performance faster with just one exercise.

See Music will determine the level of your settings and assign a specific composer:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Master or Wizard.

PERFORMANCE REPORTS
Reports appear at the end of each performance. You may share the results with your teacher or friends via MESSAGE, EMAIL, or post the results on FACEBOOK, TWITTER, etc.
You also have access to the reports by DAY, WEEK and MONTH, also your BEST and LAST performances.

JUDGING STYLES
We have included several judging styles. You can choose how tough or relaxed you want the judge to evaluate your performance, or create your own style.

TUTORIAL VIDEO
A tutorial video is available within the app.
SEE MUSIC also includes a Metronome and Tuner. With See Music you'll have all the necessary tools to take your playing to the next level.

Fix the metronome

This WAS a great app. However the metronome no longer works and it’s been broken for a while. No updates in two years! Fix this!! I was all about purchasing Tonal Harmony Pro until I saw that it’s from the same company. Tonal Harmony Pro seems like a game changer, even if it seems a bit “”non-intuitative.”” I can handle non-intuitive with time and patience, but when parts of an app simply stop working there’s nothing I can do on my end. I wanted to leave a one star review but I can’t in good conscience since the app was so great before it stopped working. Please fix this. Sincerely, A previously very satisfied and now a severely irritated customer.

Perfection

App no longer works now that the metronome won’t provide audible clicks except for the very first beat of the first measure. Other reviewers are experiencing the same problem. I’ve sent an email to the developer but haven’t heard a response yet. This problem is on all platforms - iPhone, iPad and Mac laptops (where I also have the desktop version installed). Likely caused by Apple operating system updates. Please fix!!! I love the app, but can’t use it without the metronome.

Very good but...

Hello, I’m Santiago Di Cristófano (Santi Dicri), I’m a cruise ship orchestra guitar player, and I have been using this app to practice sight reading, but the metronome suddenly stopped working. I can see the metronome going but it doesn’t sound anymore, even if I change the sounds of the metronome, only the first beat of the first bar is making the sound and not the others. I have been practicing with the app sight reading machine before, and I think you can get some ideas of improvements from that app. I think see music has some better stuff like the recording option, and the option of choosing in between triadic or steps music, but the other app has some features that this one doesn’t have as well. In the other app you can choose exactly the type of notes you want to read, and the key signature you want to read. In the other app you can add dynamics to the music. In the other app you don’t have the visible tempo mark always there and you have an option to play only with the metronome and not with the music going on. Unfortunately they are not making updates in the other app, so I decided to buy this one and suggest you some changes to make it better. And this ones are my ideas... Option to sight read more than 8 bars A + and a - to change the tempo accurately An option to read more than one note at the time An option to record myself and be able to listen to it after A community of people using the app made from the app

Metronome does not click on iOS devices

I recently bought this app for iOS devices, I installed it in my iPad Air and on my iPhone 6 but when using the app for sight reading the metronome stops clicking just the visual indicator works which makes the practice less accurate and more difficult. I hope there is a fix for it, that’s the only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of five stars. I will test the midi as well I hope it works.

Does amazing things, but glitchy

I’ve not seen another app that fills this need—generates endless exercises but also grades performance on a number of factors (pitch/rhythm)! However, it is rough around the edges and the app’s performance has degraded over the past month—perhaps due to OS changes?: 1) The awards page does not save the averages for the day anymore (never did save for the week) 2) The metronome sound now only plays the first beat and some times start of 5th measure. 3) Sometimes metronome stops altogether and/ or the app crashes. I would so love for this to work as intended. I have tried re-installing the app and contacting developer via email, but awaiting response. I have an iPhone 8 with no other programs running. Other comments: Sometimes the Correct % seems more reliable than others. (Is it most reliable at the default tempo? Just tell me if that is a known issue, so I’m not trying to figure out whether I am actually getting worse at slower tempos?) The progression is not transparent (does it give harder/easier exercises based on your performance?—if yes, what actions start you back at the beginning? Reopening? Changing a design parameter? Tempo? Not discussed in video tutorial.) The navigation is needlessly clumsy on iPhone. (Move the “conductor” away from mic/start icon or put it under Settings for those that want it. I keep accidentally turning it on and it’s annoying. Eyes need to be looking ahead of current note anyway. Always have icon for something in same place — e.g. designer at bottom left, create excecise bottom right etc.) As other reviewers say, I really would like to be able to pick key(s), similar to setting a user-defined range. See Tenuto for picking keys. The See Music score/graphic means what? Explain.

Doesn’t work

This app doesn’t even work. It doesn’t hear anything from the mic. Yes it has access. It also crashes after a few minutes of being open. On an iPad Pro.

I’m already seeing small improvements!

I have been doing my best to get better at sight reading on the guitar (which is the most difficult instrument to sight read music) and I have found this app to be useful in my practice sessions. If there’s a few things that I would like to see on this app is to have an additional feature for guitarists to read Bass Clef. Going through the list of instruments that I could choose to sight read on, I have noticed that the Cello has two clef choices. So why can’t the guitar? I would think this would benefit well for any performances that would require me to read in Bass Clef instead of Treble. Another thing I struggle with sometimes are the key signatures, instead of grouping them, how about an option that’s similar to the isolate button on notes and be able to practice certain key signatures instead of randomizing? Those are just a few bits of criticism, but overall I still enjoy using this app, and I’ll continue to use it every day.
