See Music listens to your playing and gives you an instant visualization and then a complete report at the end of the exercise. - The Complete-Melody Trainer composes entire melodies for you to sight-read. See Music listens to your playing and then gives you a report with rhythm and pitch accuracy for every note in the piece so you know if you were flat or sharp, late or early, or you missed the note all together. The final report also includes an overall score and other stats. LEVELS Simply set the level of the pieces by combining different musical elements: Range, Skip-Steps, Keys, Time Signature, Rhythms, Speed and Length of the piece See music will write pieces of up to 8 measures long for you to practice. DOESN’T WORK! REFUND PLEASE!
Doesn’t read my electric bass at all whether through Built-in microphone or 2 different interfaces i own(lexicon & iconnectivity 4 audio)… I’m dissappointed because I really wanted an app where I can further my bass abilities. Unfortunately the program can’t even read the notes that im playing! REFUND PLEASE!
Good software, NEEDs third party soundcard support, better customer service
Firstly, the functionality of the software itself is definitely useful as a training tool, and the lessons are highly customizable. The support for multiple instruments is a nice touch. I’d like to see a more curated approach, that leads the user gradually through skill levels, rather than putting the onus on the user to create a custom lesson each time. I purchased this for use in my home studio, which runs on a Mac Pro… which does not have an internal microphone. MDecks clearly knows that there are issues with getting their software to work with third party audio interfaces, as there are several FAQs that they provide giving tips on how to make it work. The last tip I was provided essentialy said “If you’re having problems, we recommend using the internal microphone on your computer”. Again, not an option for me on a computer with no internal mic. After I informed them of this, they became unresponsive. Not a wise approach to customer service. Thankfully, I also have a MacBook with an internal microphone, so I can workaround and still use the software. If I didn’t, I would be out of luck. MDecks is doing themselves a disservice by not addressing this problem, as the software definitely has promise!
Buggy piece of garbage

Perfect. Recommendable 100%
This app is invaluable. As a music teacher I can't thank de developer enough, this is a great tool. The music is beautifully written and the options are endless. If you are a student I really recommend this app. Thanks for the update, much better performance.
Good app, one suggestion
Hi, I really like this app and I think it will help a lot. I’m an absolute beginner to sight reading and don’t have the staff memorized yet, I think one beginner friendly feature that could help out a whole lot is giving the option of having the note names show whenever you play them. Another thing that could help is finger (app store wouldn’t allow me to add an “ing”) numbers as well. Just some suggestions but I’ll still work on improving this on my own. I also think that the user interface could be made a little friendlier. Another suggestion worth mentioning is the ability to use midi on both bass and treble clef, but I can see how this could be complicated to implement.
Great sight reading app
Although this app is still very new, with some rough edges here & there, I highly recommend it. The developer has been very responsive to feedback, fixing bugs and making improvements rapidly.
