This is a good app for basic beatmaking needs, especially for slower beats, that don't need to be programmed or layered. There are six pads that you can individually select the type of sound, but you can't change it. Meaning you can only select kicks on the kick pad, you can't choose 4 kicks and 2 snares across the 6pads. Recorded beats can be shared to the launchpd app i have amongst a few others (not garageband) It does need some improvement. 1. It has no metronome, so you have no time keeping within the app. 2. There is some latency, which is why it's better for slower beats. 3. The ads are way too frequent. Within 2 minutes i had 3 ads pop up
