This app is a perfect resource for them. I like it because it's thorough but, at the same time, straightforward. I am new to piano and familiar with some scales and chord progressions, but this app will help me to understand and explore various combinations. I pair this app with additional learning material online to help me fully understand the math/science behind music. This app is excellent for understanding scales, chords, chord progressions, and the circle of fifths. I like the easy-to-use interface. It only includes standard scales and chords. I have another app with many complicated and confusing scales that I've never heard of, much less can pronounce. I just wanted something to show me the standard scales and chords, which this app does. It also sounds like a chord or scale. It gives you so much when you’re stuck composing. I’m relatively new to music theory, and this makes everything I’ve been learning about chords super clear. I have taught piano for 33 years. This is the best app for any level of the student. It is so easy to use; kids love it when I use the iPad in their lessons. Literally jumped for joy
My parents could only afford beginner piano lessons when I was younger so I only learned the C major scales and everything else I learned was taught by family. Finding this app was ecstatic for me and can take my skills to the next level. Bravo!
Thanks
Thanks 😊 so much
AUv3?
Bet you’d make a lot of money if this could send out MIDI in a host like AUM.
Very Helpful Too Have
Don't waste anymore time by not having this in your arsenal as a producer.
One of the best useful apps ever!
For learning piano this app is indispensable and well worth the $4.99 to have it all. As a visual learner you can quickly see the patterns and make sense of the use of fingering, especially with scales. I can even practice memorizing scales when away from an actual piano. Plus you have everything you need on the screen - if you want to know the musical notation but also want to see where it is on the piano keyboard its all there - plus you can play it back. When practicing scales you can choose whether it's the notes or the finger numbers that appear on keyboard. You would have to spend at least $35 to find a paperback chord book that still wouldn't contain all of this without it being too large of a book. Bravo to the team that took the time to develop this app - thanks for that!!! Edition: I keep discovering new features on this app and I’m so grateful for it! In particular I’ve been utilizing the flashcards, quizzes and what not that are teaching me how to recognize and name all kinds of chord shapes, either by pattern on piano or musical notation!
Incredible
