Entirely useless
Could not access my PDFs. I couldn’t even get it to open the included manual file. A waste of a dollar!
Mot working on iPad Pro
Nothing works on iPad pro
It will not import or share any file on the iPad
All controls are non-responsive, keyboard typing does not even show up and all shares / copy to the app do not work on the new iPad iOS for iPad Pro, what an udder waste of a purchase, and yes, I did have the latest version.
Outstanding software
MusicReader when combined with LargePrint reader for desktop from the same site and Airturn are an outstanding solution for musicians with low vision needing an enlarged score. Music can be enlarged in the second program to a discrete number of staffs and measures then fed to MusicReader for page turning. There is more value here than in programs costing much more. Support is quick and personal with full documentation. My thanks to the developer for helping me access music.
Dealing with it.
I've learned how to cope with its quirks and crashes. Biggest fails was having multiple apps open at the same time. So I stopped. I bought a Droid tablet to communicate with my digital mixer and to provide any web access. I found the easiest way to get a PDF to my iPad is to email it and to open and send it to Music Reader4. I'd love some new bug fixes and gui updates. Once I understood I can't make the air turn and the keyboard work, again, I learned to shut the Bluetooth of before I search. I will keep using but also keep looking in case they never update it.
Don't get it
I can't really give this a true rating since it does nothing but crash as soon as you open it
Music Reader 4
I have been using Music Reader4, and although it has a steep learning curve, once you figure it out, I love it! Support is ok, and it does what I need it to do.
